Marriott Marquis • $198.00 • 8/20 – 8/22 Conference Dates & Location We recognize that the hotel rates seem high, but these are good hotel rates for a great location like N.Y.  However, these hotel rates only reflect our first round of negations.  We anticipate that AIS' meeting planners will be able to negotiate a contract rate with lower room rates if Stevens is selected as host for the AMCIS conference. We should be able to leverage the SIM Conference that Stevens is also coordinating in October of 2003. Hotels in the area such as Days Inn & Howard Johnson's offer room rates closer to $100.
