  2. Thanksgiving Day Grandma is baking pies while my grandpa was looking for things to buy. For Thanksgiving lunch I had a whole bunch. For Thanksgiving dinner we ate a winner. Thanksgiving is done. Yum, Yum that was fun! by Taylor Barnes

  3. Fall We play We stay We are raking They are baking We go to school While it is still cool We wear a sweater It is better When I see yellow leaves It makes me think of something mellow Lots of leaves Make me sneeze. by Chloe Berry

Fall I’m raking during Fall because the leaves will call My family is eating turkey as a topping jerky We wear our sweaters our bodies feel better The birds fly south as they open and close their mouths I’m at my cousin’s house the left-overs are for the mouse The weather is cool all the people close the pools And we just started school everybody says cool by Jonathan Bonilla

  6. Fall Apple cider, orchards, and pumpkin seeds, as the world is being showered with leaves! Millions of colors as far as I can see. It’s time to celebrate Fall for me!   7. Camping in the Fall I like to go camping in the Fall. The fire is very warm and tall. Cooking marshmallows is the best. I like to wear a nice warm vest. While the fire is burning bright I like to hear scary stories in the night. Strange creatures that stalk the land makes me shiver in my hand. by Grayson Ellis

  8. In the Fall In the Fall bees buzz in trees. Don’t use your stinger on me, please. Now, I see black cats and vampire bats climbing around in people’s hats. I see children drinking Mellow Yellow.   11. Fall My mom was inside baking, while my dad was outside raking. Fall is my favorite season of the year and my best friend Hunter loves hunting deer. I was waiting for the turkey while my brother was eating beef jerky. Then, I was eating mashed potatoes while my older brother was studying tornadoes. by Cameron May

  14. Fall A cold Fall day when the wind blows, leaves of all colors flow. As freeze bumps grow on your skin, the grass blows in the wind. Going inside smelling the fresh turkey, you start to get very perky. Tell your mom you’re going hiking, but you’re really biking. My Teacher Is Like My Mother She makes me laugh when I’m sad A friend during lonely times Protects me from my foes Patches every bruise Scolds me for misbehaving Reprimands my transgression Gives respect all the time That makes me feel ten feet tall Preaches about politeness Never gives up until it shows Her embrace makes worries disappear Into the darkness where they belong Most of all she lets me know That I am SPECIAL in her eyes All these things my MOTHER will do But it’s DIVINE To have my TEACHER do them too! by Joyce Wilson
