Color poems • White is the color of the clouds in the sky. • The color of a marshmallow is white. • Vanilla ice cream is white. • The milk that comes from a cow is white. • White tastes like cookies and cream. • It smells like sweet candy. • White sounds like a nice swirl. • White feels soft ice. • White looks like vanilla dipped cookies. • White makes me warm inside. • My selected color is white.

  3. Metaphor poem • I have a brother who was born on May 1. • My brother always cries when he is hurt. • My brother is a brat to me I wish mom and dad would set him free. • I might be sad though if he left me. • My mother is nice to people

  4. Tongue twister • If sting from a honeybee leaves a trail of honey to the bee does the bee die or does he go and get the hive and eat you alive before you can run and hide.

  5. Limerrick • Ledarrius loves to eat cake. • Good cake makes him shake. • Bad cake makes him ache. • Ledarrius is just a fun loving cake eating snake.

  6. Simile poem • My brother eats like a dog. • My mom is pretty as a picture. • My dad is like a strong rock. • He chews his food like a little hog. • My dad is like a very nice person.
