  4. Creating Pages A) Use HTML (Ugh!) B) Use Word C) Use FrontPage D) Use Dreamweaver E) Etc

  5. Creating Pages Using Word • A)    Save as www page OR • B)     Web page template OR • C)    Web page wizard (not anymore?)

  7. Publish Pages • ·        See your provider’s instructions • ·       Generally involves using FTP to transfer files, but may need to take other steps as well • See www.lasalle.edu/admin/personal/pages.htm for La Salle instructions • Front Page will do a lot for you

  8. Test Pages • Ideally test on PC AND Mac • Ideally test on the 2 most recent versions of each of the popular browsers (Microsoft, Netscape, Mozilla)

  9. Some Rules of Thumb • Use consistent layouts and designs on all pages on a site
