  11. Congratulations, Soccer Team • Oakland Catholic 4, Allderdice 2.  • Back at the Oval, but this time not for conditioning, we gave up two goals on two corner kicks to the Dragons from Allderdice.  We trailed 1-0 in the 17th minute but their lead was short lived as sophomore Essence Canady took matters into her own hands and went on a 60 yard breakaway leaving Dragons in her wake as she beat the helpless Keeper for the match leveling goal.  Allderdice would go ahead again on their second corner kick scoring the exact same way as the first tally.  The lead lasted into the second half until the offense finally broke through.  Junior Taylor Renk picked up her first of two in the 54th minute with Essence getting the helper.  Just three minutes later, sophomore Claudia Lenhart moved up from her center back position and fed a nice pass to Essence who recorded her second of the contest.  Senior Amber Nolf made a nice sliding tackle nudge of the ball to a streaking Taylor who finished the scoring just one minute later and the 4-2 win was in the books.
