  2. Announcements I Quiz 4 Results Average was very low (37 pts) Distribution shown Many students had difficulties on short answer # 2, long answer #s 1, 2b and 3 Because of low average, I added 4 points to the score of every exam (not shown)

Quiz 5 Next Tuesday On Last Tuesday’s and Tonight’s Presentations I will emphasize: 1) understanding main theory of technique and 2) the role of the technology (why and where use the technology) – so make sure to understand advantages and disadvantages You should know of some of the applications (but understanding of why the technology is used for those applications is more important) Announcements II

Website I have added all of the information from the IMS and Chiral HPLC presentations I also generated some other problems for these presentations I’m currently working on this week’s presentations (will post presentations, HW problems, references/journal links) and will again email papers out Special Topics Presentation (this week’s): SF Extraction (Le and Paragas) 2D HPLC (Emery and Ishchuk) SFC (Farmer and Martinez) ? Direct MS (Herrera and Marzouk) Microchip CE (Li and Sundar) Non-Aqueous CE (Ault and Moulton) May need to go past 8:00 PM Final Exam Tuesday, Dec. 11, 5:15 – 7:15 Worth 150 points (2.5 quizzes) ~ 30 pts on Dec. 4 presentations ~ 120 pts on past material
