  2. Memorial Honoring • The F.D.R. Memorial honors President Franklin Delano Roosevelt • Roosevelt was the 32nd President • Roosevelt led the U.S through the Great Depression and World War II by creating the New Deal

  3. Memorial Appearance • The Franklin Delano Roosevelt Memorial was built in 1997 on 7.5 acres • The Memorial features a 10 foot statue of President F.D.R. with his dog Fala • Many other statues at the memorial show a 12 year period that includes the Great Depression and World War II
