About Remploy Remploy is a leading provider of job opportunities for disabled people and people facing complex barriers to employment Our Mission: to transform the lives of disabled and disadvantage people and those experiencing complex barriers to work by providing sustainable employment opportunities

  4. Delivering our mission • We deliver our mission and vision through: • Our Enterprise Businesses • Our Employment Services

  5. Enterprise Businesses: • Network of 54 factory-based businesses • Direct employment of nearly 3,000 disabled people • Provide trainee placements for skills development • Produce and deliver world-class products and services across a range of sectors

  6. Employment Services • Last year we supported 10,200 disabled and disadvantaged people into mainstream jobs through 40+ Branches. This year – 16,000 so far. • We deliver Welfare to Work programmes to help disabled and disadvantaged people to find and retain mainstream employment • We provide Wellbeing and rehabilitation services to help people stay in a job

  7. Remploy and the Armed Services • Partnership with Career Transition Partnership, offering support to disabled service personnel. • Partner in Army Recovery Capability project for supporting more disabled personnel. • Rapid referral route to our support, with quick response times.

  9. The Work Programme • Remploy and Balfour Beatty have JV partnership – have submitted bids in all areas of UK. (only contractor who has) • Balfour Beatty submitted bids in London – East and West • Strong desire to work in partnership with specialist fields, either through • Formal subcontract to provide services • Formal joint working • Informal partnerships • Expected timescales: circa April 14th – possible notifications. • Three contracts in each half of London • June/ July expected start

Our Approach to Employer Engagement • National team of account managers engaging with 110 employers at present. • National partnerships with clear commitment and ideally early job notification , interview guarantee or exclusivity. • Signed SLA to commit to recruitment of our client groups. • Monthly review and report on all national accounts, internally and to our employer partners. • 30: 30 : 40 split: National, Regional and Local vacancies. engaged locally and regionally.

Employer and job role mix • Driven by the market and candidate aspiration. • Planned demography of candidates – grade by work readiness, and inform our ‘pipeline’. • Market to DEAs and referral partners when we know vacancies are coming. • In London, largely reflects the market • Retail • Care • Hospitality • Distribution

Working with Remploy • Work Choice: health related benefit and referral through Jobcentre DEA or some agencies can become Statutory Referral Organisations, and refer direct. • 6 months support and then 2 years in-work support • The Work Programme (subject to contract awards) • 2 years support
