  4. Educational policy • The ASMS initiates and implements educational and cultural policy topics. Lobbying/Network • The ASMS promotes the reputation of the music schools. • The ASMS creates networks and platforms in order to embed the music schools in the public awareness. PR/Marketing • Trough its publications, the ASMS serves as an information hub and provides impulses for the public discussion in education and culture. Support • The ASMS supports its members with a wide range of services.

  10. quarte is the first process-oriented management system developed especially for music schools. quarte is structured into three modules. THE 1ST SWISSMUSIC SCHOOL LABEL

Goals The quarte certification procedure seeks to • secure and further develop the quality of music school offerings by providing minimum standards, • achieve transparency for stakeholders (authorities, students, parents, instructors, etc.), and • create a foundation for decisions by authorities (subsidies, etc.).

  12. Recognition quarte certificates • are recognized throughout Switzerland, • are valid for 3 years. To encourage continuous development, recertification takes place after 3 years.
