In this lesson, students will prepare for a Socratic discussion centered on the topic of social shaming ads and the arguments surrounding sex education. We'll review examples of using evidence to support viewpoints, including the Catholic perspective on sex education according to the Vatican. Students are encouraged to gather at least two pieces of evidence from three articles for their arguments and consider counterarguments. This session will foster critical thinking and respectful dialogue among peers.
