  2. Sentence Types 1-Simple sentence:Is a short sentence that has one finite verb , one subj and one idea. verb , one subj and one idea.

  3. Examples 1- she lies on the grass. 2- The sheep are eating grass 3- They rest on the bank of the river.

  4. Compound sentence:Is really two or more simple sentences of equal importance.they are joind together with co- ordinators such as (and ,or ,but )E.g:1- Huda is looking at the flower ,but salma is thinking .2- The two girls are sad or they are very tired.

  5. Complex Sentence : Consists of two or more clauses which joined with linking words such as(although ,because ,as , since , if ,when ,therefore, consequently …and relative pronouns like which , who ,that…, The clauses are not of equal importance .the main partof these sentences is called main clause and it is like a simple sentence ,the other Clause is called subordinate clause (dependent on the main clause )

  6. 1- Inspiteof the hot weather , Huda doesn't wear the hat .2-There are a lots of grass ,so the sheep could eat. Examples
