The Blackpool Safeguarding Children’s Board (BSCB) is committed to setting strategic directives and ensuring that agencies uphold accountability regarding safeguarding practices. Key priority areas include protecting children from maltreatment, neglect, and exploitation, as well as tackling bullying and anti-social behavior. Through operational executive groups and various sub-groups, we monitor and evaluate safeguarding activities, implement action plans from case reviews, and develop multi-agency training programs to ensure safe environments for children and young people.
