1. 42nd International Letter Writing Competition for Young People 2013 Organisers: The Universal Postal Union (UPU) Theme: Write a letter about why water is precious. Entry Requirements: -Write a LETTER of 800 words maximum; must contain the elements of a letter (place and date, addressee’s address, opening and closing salutations and signature). -Entries must be in English and entirely the work of the entrant and must never have been published, self-published on any website or public online forum, broadcast nor winning or placed in any other competition. Eligibility: -The competition is open to Brunei citizens and Permanent Residents only. -You must be less than 15 or less than 15 and 6 months by 9th October 2013. Prizesat National level in Brunei Darussalam Champion: B$ 500.00 First Runner Up: B$ 300.00 Runner Up: B$ 200.00 5 Consolation Prizes of B$ 50.00 each Deadline for submission: Monday 11th February 2013 Print your letter together with a photocopy of your Identity Card and pass to Mrs Gougeon.
