Get to Know You: Interactive Notecard Activity

This engaging "Gettin’ to Know Ya" activity encourages students to express themselves creatively on a notecard. Each student will decorate a 4" x 6" notecard with their name or nickname and answer specific questions to help me understand them better. Questions include their life book title, self-description in six words, favorite things, and significant historical figures they admire. This is an opportunity to learn about their aspirations and family while fostering a classroom community that values individuality and creativity.

  2. A Name & A Note Each of you will be given a 4’’ by 6’’ notecard. On the unlined side of the notecard, you will write your name (or nickname). Add color. Be creative. On the lined sideof your notecard, you will answer the questions below—in complete sentences–so I can get to know you, as a student and as an individual. (You do not have to write the questions, but you do have to write the numbers that go along with the questions. Remember to the answer the questions in complete sentences.)
