Fase 2 CIMIC: • Beter inzicht in problemen en potentieel • Inzicht in lokale dynamiek • Duurzame ontwikkeling faciliteren OSAD/DGIS: • Nationale programma’s uitrollen - legitimiteit • Capaciteit overheid versterken • Bijdragen aan conflictoplossing / diplomatie • IO’s en NGO’s interesseren voor Uruzgan

Prioriteiten voor 2007 • Economische ontwikkeling / inkomens - landbouw/tuinbouw/fruitteelt - traditionele irrigatie - gemeenschapsontwikkeling en inkomens - Midden en klein bedrijfsontwikkeling (MKB) - financiele sector ontwikkeling • Onderwijs - Onderwijsprogramma EQUIP van het MoE/WB - Modern Islamitisch Onderwijs (Provinciale Overheid) - PABO - Politieopleiding • Basis gezondheidszorg • Strategische infrastructure - wegverbindingen met de districten en dorps toegangswegen • Versterking instituties en bestuur: o.a. deelname bevolking aan planningsproces • Juridische hervormingen en stabiliteit
