PSSC RESULTS NOTICE

This notice outlines the components of the PSSC (Pre-University School Certificate) results, including Internal Assessment Marks, Exam Marks, and Final Grades. The Internal Assessment Mark is the sum of all weighted assessments expressed as a percentage, while the Exam Mark is the standardized result after weighting.   2. 3 components: • Internal Assessment Mark • Exam Mark • Final Grade

  3. (i) Internal Assessment Mark • Sum of all IA weighted marks • Expressed in percentages • NOT a linear sum of IA marks sent from schools

  4. (ii) Exam Mark • Standardised mark after weighting has been applied • Expressed in percentages • NOT the raw exam mark

  5. (iii) Final Grade • Combined IA and Exam marks in weighted terms • Subjected to fine tune processing • Grading procedures • Note: the final mark is NOT a linear sum of the reported IA and Exam marks
