  3. God’s Answer • He has shown man what is good • Creation • Redeemed from Bondage v. 4 • Sent before them v. 4 • Moses (Law giver) • Aaron (High Priest) • Miriam (Prophetess) • Examples Balak-Balaam v.5 “That you may know ….”

  4. Man’s Dilemma • What sacrifice is sufficient? • What offering pleases the Lord?

  5. God’s Requirements • To do justly • To love mercy • To walk humbly with your God In your conduct or dealings with God and man

  6. Do Justly Is it any of your business? • Without prejudice • With honesty • According to truth • Accuracy- precision • Just description • Just weights • Just scales

  7. Do Justly ctd. • According to the rules: • Due Process (Matt 18:15-17) • Well founded arguments (1 Tim 5:19) Leads to righteous judgments

  8. To Walk Humbly • Low in Position or rank: not important • Rom 12:16 • James 4:10 • 1Pet 5:6 • Modest in spirit, not Proud • James 4:6 • 1Pet 5:5

  9. To Walk Humbly ctd. • Deeply courteous and respectful • Favoring God—no other gods before him • Honesty • With His Truth: Jn 17:17 • Accuracy: 2Pet 2:1-3, 2Tim 2:15-19, 2Pet 3:16 • Accurate and Precise practice of His commands Col 3:17

  11. Invitation • Walk Humbly • Honestly—does He who creates have the power to destroy? • Have his messengers warned of judgment? • Humble yourself to God, submit to his word in obedience. • Alien sinner • Fallen away
