The Robert F. Lucas Outstanding Lt. Governor award celebrates exceptional leadership within Key Club International. Established to honor Robert F. Lucas for his commitment and service, this award encourages Lt. Governors to not only meet the minimum service requirements but to exceed them. Applicants are evaluated on 13 criteria encompassing communication, attendance, event participation, and more. This process encourages reflection on leadership growth and service, with the aim of recognizing those who truly go above and BEEyond in their roles. Showcase your hard work and achievements!

Robert F. Lucas Outstanding Lt. Governor • History • Robert F. Lucas was the third Key Club International Administrator. He served from August 1965 through September 1974. • The Key Club International Board chose to honor him when he retired from Kiwanis International to take a position with the National School Boards Association. • He has since retired and lives in Alexander, Virginia.

Alternative Closure Activity • Those who choose not to submit a Distinguished binder will have an alternative form to complete as the closure activity. • CLOSURE is important so that there is a smooth transition of leadership for the members and for a smooth transition for the leaders.
