  2. NCSD Mission The Nuclear Criticality Safety Division (NCSD) focuses on the prevention of criticality accidents in areas outside of nuclear reactors. NCSD promotes the arts and sciences of nuclear criticality safety, within the scope of the American Nuclear Society.
