  1. Aquatic Biome

  2. Biome • The climate is warm and cold in certain areas of the ocean. • The location is in the water habitats. • The habitats are rocks , sand , plants , reefs , sandbars , and rivers. • Organisms are fish, kelp, starfish, squid, shark, whale, turtles, dolphins, and birds.

  3. Ecosystem • Land and water features are, • land: sandy ground, islands, and plants • water: sandy floors, trenches, and plants. • Habitats are rocks, sand, plants, reefs, and sandbars. • Organisms are fish, sharks, kelp.

  4. Food Chain

  5. Producer=Kelp • Kelp is just like grass but taller and longer in length. • Kelp is required to have rich nutrient water in the habitat to survive with the temperature of 6 to 14 Celsius. • Kelp is hunted by fish, whale, and other aquatic animals. • Kelp doesn’t protect itself and communicate.

  6. 1st Consumer=Fish • Variety of sizes, colors, and habitats. • If fish had no water for 8 hours it would die. • They eat plankton and anything smaller than it and it has to digest it. • Fish is eaten by anything bigger than it that eats it. • Protects itself by hiding behind rocks and against or in kelp. • Babies look like the adults but smaller, some fish look after the young or don’t even see them, babies are less intelligent, weaker, and almost alike to grown fish.

  7. 2nd Consumer=Shark • Variety of colors, sizes, and teeth. • Colors are blue, grey, green, white, and brown. • Lives in water habitats and survives by eating fish, seals, plankton, sharks, dolphins, and porpoise. • Eaten by humans and whales. • Bites things that threaten sharks. • Babies look like adults but weaker and less intelligent. • We should be concerned.
