  6. For the Pensioners • Out of 10,051 pending grievances 6197 disposed • Prescribed timeline for processing of retirement benefits reduced from 2 to 1 year • Monthly pre-retirement counselling workshops initiated

  9. Reduction in Processing Time • Service Allocation for CSE: • Cadre Allocation for IAS for CSE • Appointment Proposals for Priority Sectors in EO Division: • Earlier: 12 Days • Now: 8.5 Days • Efforts ongoing to reduce it further

  10. Working Together • Partnering with other Ministries for expeditiously resolving issues of common interest.

  11. Replicating Best Practices • Employee of the Month Scheme: • Circulated for adoption by other Ministries / Departments

  12. Equity in Governance • Exemption from mandatory transfers accorded to Parents of differently abled children. • Benefit to Reservation to Ex – Servicemen – Subsequent Employment. • OBC Certificate format revised – long pending grievance redressed

  13. Conducive Work Environment for Women Employees • Rules being amended to: • Widen definition of ‘sexual harassment’ and ‘workplace’.

  14. Respecting the Federal Structure • Conference with Principal Secretaries: • September 9, 2014 • Focussed on simplifying rules and procedures based on States’ feedback
