Characteristics Wolverine Komodo Dragon • They are mammals. • Females weigh 13-26 lbs and males weigh 22-55 lbs. • They are about the size of a family dog but appear a lot bigger because they are covered with shaggy thick fur up to 4 inches long. • They have wide paws and long nails. • They are carnivorous reptiles. • They are covered with rough scales. • Most are black, brown or grey. • They can be over 2 m long and weigh about 150 pounds. • They are very strong and have claws 5 – 8 cm long.
