Using the New Studentmail Spring 2007
Features of New Studentmail • Brand New Look and Feel • Preview Pane • Drag and Drop Functionality (IE 6.0) • Larger Mailbox Size: 50 Megabytes • Email Notification • Outlook Calendar System • Email Forwarding • Improved Integration with MyGateway
http://studentmail.umsl.edu • After typing in the following link, and selecting Email, the user should get to the window on the right.
Outlook Web Access • Once the user has logged on, the following Outlook Window will open up.
Using the New Studentmail • The Preview Pane, located towards the right of the window.
Creating a New Email • Clicking on allows the user to create a new message.
Replying to Email • In order to reply to a message, the reply icon must be selected • A window would show up with the desired email address.
Contacts • Includes your personal e-mail address book to store information of people you regularly keep in contact with.
Contacts • Simply fill out this form, adding the contacts personal information.
Calendar • Allows you to create and track appointments.
Calendar • Clicking on the icon allows the user to set an appointment, specifying the time, location and date.
Accessing Through MyGateway • Click on the E-Mail Tab in MyGateway to get access to your new Studentmail.
