AIII R&D Activities Update • IPv6 network deployment using satellite in Asia • Native IPv6 networks are in operation among BDL partners • The first trial of sTLA management in Asia started • SOI-ASIA project • Goal: Establishment of higher education distance learning environment in Asia using the Internet • 11 SOI-ASIA partners are involved and set up in Asia • More than 7 SOI-ASIA lectures as the proof • “IT Special Lectures”, “Advanced Internet Technology”, etc • Lecturer sites in Japan / Students sites in Asia
