Signs You are Toxic • ADD/ADHD • Allergies • Autism Spectrum Disorders • Chronic Fatigue Syndrome • Fibromyalgia • Hormone Imbalance • Learning Disorders • Immune System Depression (persistent/recurring infections) • Irritable Bowel Syndrome and “Leaky Gut” • Thyroid Problems • Weight Loss Resistance (regardless of diet or exercise)

Toxins in Your Home • Cleaning Products - filled with hazardous petrochemicals (known carcinogens and endocrine distruptors) • Laundry Detergent • Plastic Storage Containers • Teflon Cookware - dangerous fumes emitted that cause health problems and birth defects • Biotoxins - Mold is the most common • Insect repellants/sprays - Kills bugs and chemicals are bad for you

Clean Home • Cleaning your home: • Many environmentally friendly products at the grocery store (healthy for your family) • Make your own cleaner - 50% Vinegar and 50% Water • Cleaning your clothes: • Laundry detergent - Many environmentally friendly products - watch the added fragrance (essentials oils or non-scented) • Dryer sheets - Don’t have to use any, dryer balls, or environmentally friendly product • Insecticides: • companies in the area specialize in natural solutions to keep the bugs out • Use organic products • Sometimes just need to solve the problem - fixing a hole under the door or finding the ant-pile next to the house

  7. Clean Home • Plastic Storage Containers • Cookware - Use glass and cast-iron cookware and stainless steel pots and pans

  8. Toxins in Your Food • Processed Foods - BAD!! Just don’t eat it. • Sugar - high fructose corn syrup more potent than sugar • Bad Fats - found in meats where animals are raised on grain and corn and oils that when heated become rancid • Steroids, Growth Hormones, and Antibiotics - found in dairy, chicken, beef, pork • Pesticides found in Produce • Water - tainted with heavy metals, jet fuel, pesticides, hormones, medications and dangerous chemicals (due to lazy filtering and treatment practices)

Clean Food • Sweeteners: • Best options: Stevia and Xylitol - these do not raise insulin levels and help to balance hormones • Other Nature Made options: Honey, Raw Cane Sugar, Maple Syrup, Agave Nectar, Fruit sweeteners - use sparingly • Fats: • Coconut oil - can be heated to high temperatures • Extra Virgin Olive Oil - for low to moderate temperatures • Avocados • Raw Nuts and Seeds • Raw butter, cheese and yogurt • Grass fed meats (Yonder Way Farm) - no added growth hormones, steroids or antibiotics • Fish

Toxins in Your Body • Medicine - full of volatile chemicals • Personal hygiene products • Toothpaste - most tubes of toothpaste have a poison control number on the back of them because the ingredients should not be swallowed • Deodorant and Antiperspirant - many fragrances are toxic due to chemicals and antiperspirant has been linked to breast cancer and aluminum poisoning (your body is supposed to sweat) • Body Lotion and Powder • Sunscreen • Make-up • Hand sanitizers

Healthy Body Your body absorbs 60% of what you put on it • Medicine - reduce and eliminate your medications • There are many natural remedies: • Ear aches (couple drops of olive oil serve as a natural antibiotic and soothes the pain) • Sore throat - hot tea with lemon and honey; or gargle salt water • Stuffy nose - Baby Vicks on the bottom of your feet and put on socks; or lavender or eucalyptus oil in a warm bath or in a vaporizer
