Summary of annual water requirements for the Kurdistan Region: • Surface water inflow = (18.6) billion m3 • Expected acquired groundwater = (2) billion m3 • The possibility of water storage After construction of strategic Dams, = (15.8) billion m3 • Water Demand for Domestic use in (2013) = (0.67) billion m3 • Water Demand for Domestic use in (2030) = (0.97) billion m3 • Water Demand for irrigation = (8.1) billion m3 • Irrigated area = ( 4.8 ) Million Acre • Water Demand for industry = (0.2) billion m3 • Water Demand for one person in aday ( l/c/d )= (1904) liter
