Welcome to Ms. Jones' 5th grade class! I’m excited for a wonderful school year. You can find important information about our school at 3312 Beck Road, phone number (816) 671-4100. My email is jjones36@missouriwestern.edu for any questions. Our principal is Dr. Michael Otto. Remember to be positive, productive, polite, and prepared in class. We'll have two field trips: to the Kansas City Zoo and the weather station. Lunch costs $2.65, with reminders for low accounts. Let's work together for a fun and educational year!

  3. A little bit about myself • I was born and raised here in St. Joseph. • I graduated from Missouri Western State University. (Go Griffs!) • I have two pet fish. • I like to go on hikes. • I am really excited about this school year!!

  4. Lunchtime! • You can purchase lunch from the cafeteria or you bring lunch from home. • A lunch from the school costs $2.65 a day. • A reminder email will be sent out to parents once the student’s lunch account gets below $5.00 • Good behavior is expected in the lunchroom at all times!

  5. Classroom Rules • Be positive! Come into class in a good mood! • Be productive! Use class time effectively! • Be polite! Respect the teacher and your fellow classmates! • Be prepared! Come to class ready for the day everyday!

  6. Field Trips • This year we will be going on two field trips. • First one is to the Kansas City Zoo. $15 • Second one is to the weather station. $5 • These trips do cost money, I wanted to let you know ahead of time!

  7. Expectations • I expect my students to be organized, hard working, and responsible students. If they do this we will have a fun school year where they will learn a lot!!
