POWER BAT Bus INFLOW SYS (F) • Pneumatic switch that allows for intermediate positions • Will be replace by electric 2 position switch AIR GEN Bus EVAP BLWR (F)(R) CKPT TEMP (F) DEFOG LEFT SIDE P3 ENGINE BLEED AIR FLAPPER VALVE CANOPY DEFROST OUTLET TUBE FOOT Both Blowers available anytime GEN Bus is powered AIRSCOOP WINDSHIELD DEFOG OUTLETS ENGINE WEIGHT ON WHEELS SWITCH FRONT AIR CONDITION EVAP & BLOWER REAR AIR DEFOG CONTROL VALVE BI-LEVEL FLOW CONTROL & SHUTOFF VALVE FORWARD DEFOG CONTROL VALVE Activates Blower ENGINE P-3 BLEED AIR Ground Use. Also helps cool Heat Exchanger on the ground OBOGS REAR AIR CONDITIONER EVAP BLOWER BLOWER FAN PNEUMATIC SYSTEM SHUTOFF VALVE FOOTWARMERS 3000F SENSOR BI-LEVEL FLOW CONTROL & BYPASS VALVE 3 Positions OPEN or CLOSED HEATING SYSTEM EJECTOR COWL VENT G-SUIT OUTLETS FOOT= CLOSED DEFOG= OPEN • “DEFOG” opens this valve • Bleed air routed through OR around heat exchanger depending on position of Heat Exchanger Bypass Valve, then to Ejector Bypass Valve HEAT EXCHANGER CANOPY PRESSURE SUPPLY SEAL AMBIENT AIR EJECTOR BYPASS VALVE 3000 TEMPERATURE SENSORS COOLED BLEED AIR CONDITIONED AIR HEAT EXCHANGER BYPASS VALVE FRESH AIR VALVE EMERGENCY FIREWALL SHUTOFF VALVE Determines how much if any bleed air supplied to enviro system • If Temp at fwd defog valve exceeds 3000F in DEFOG mode, DUCT TEMP light will illuminate • If temp in the enviro system duct exceeds 3000F anytime, DUCT TEMP light illuminates • If duct sensor temp exceeds 1650F, Heat Exchanger Bypass Valve moves full closed WATER SEPARATOR EMERGENCY FIREWALL SHUTOFF HANDLE ECS CONTROL PANEL EVAP BLOWER BLEED AIR INFLOW PRESSURIZATION COOLED BLEED AIR HI NORM OFF RAM/DUMP DUMP NORM HI LOW EMERGENCY FIREWALL SHUTOFF HANDLE prevents fumes from entering cockpit from engine compartment via the enviro system RAM AIR FLOW HI NORM OFF • HOT opens HE Bypass Valve • COLD closes HE Bypass Valve • Position of controller and inputs from temp sensors control position of HE Bypass Valve • Uses Temp Sensor by fwd defog control valve • Auto temp range 60-90 deg F RAM AIR SWITCH OVERRIDDEN @ 8000’ WHEN PRESSURIZATION BEGINS TO OPERATE
