  1. The Bangladesh Tornado By: Adrianna N.

  2. January 9th,1993 Nearly 50 people were killed and thousands made homeless when a tornado battered a village in Northeast Bangladesh. The tornado, which lasted five minutes, struck early on a Saturday, after another tornado further north killed at least 26 people. The 1 Storm is the worst tornado

  3. HOW A TORNADO FORMS Air rotates because of wind shear. How the column of air begins to rotate is not completely understood by scientists, but one way the rotation appears to happen is when winds at two different altitudes blow at two different speeds creating wind shear. For example, a wind at 1000 feet above the surface might blow at 5mph and a wind at 5000 feet might blow at 25mph. This causes horizontal rotating column of air. {Faster Spin makes a funnel cloud} 2.if this column gets caught in a supercell updraft, the updraft tightens the spin and it speeds up (much like a skaters spins faster when arms are pulled close to the body. A funnel cloud is created. {The Funnel Rotates And Touches Down. 3. The rain and hail in the thunderstorm cause the funnel to touch down creating a tornado. All tornados and storms are bad

  4. This was one ofthe worst tornados, 50 people were killed! I felt bad, until some people sent food, clothes, and blankets. Then the people dropped off supplies in Bangladesh, so they can stay warm have clothes and stay healthy. So next time you hear about a storm maybe we can send them stuff too, so that way this doesn’t happen again! ---------------------------
