  5. Stockdick Home Mr. Stockdick was a real estate agent that helped many people move to Katy when it was a brand new town.

  6. Katy rice dryers Rice Dryers are used to dry rice after it is harvested. This is how rice is prepared for us to eat.

  7. M-K-T Railroad The M-K-T railroad was an important reason that Katy grew. This railroad still works today

  8. Library Katy’s library opened in 2003.

  9. Katy Heritage Park This is the location of the Katy Heritage Park. Six buildings are located here: The Wright home, The Featherston home, The Stockdick home, the Humble Mess Hall, The Tradition Bank Bandstand and the first Katy post office.
