About RDA Finland • Hosted by CSC - IT Center for Science • CSC has two roles in hosting the national node 1) coordinate national node activities 2) represent Finland in RDA Europe Governance Board • Node Coordinator Heidi Laine (since Feb. 2019) • Finnish RDA Node is the Finnish interface to RDA Europe 4 project and Global RDA activities www.rd-alliance.org - @resdatall

  6. Lessons • Build on existing networks and activities • Find a nationally meaningful policy context, e.g. Open Science • Find allies, such as national OpenAIRE nodes, ISC national committees (esp. CODATA) • Seek local collaboration, e.g. Nordic countries • Reach and speak out to researchers (policy makers, RDM support personnel etc. wants to interact with them, so two birds with one stone) • Offer food, stream events online, promote grants, i.e. make participating easy and appealing www.rd-alliance.org - @resdatall
