  2. The Disciple’s Prayer Father in heaven, may Your name be kept holy … May Your kingdom come … Give us each day the food we need, forgive our sins, help us in times of temptation …

  3. Hebrews 4:16 Let us then approach the throne of grace with confidence, so that we may receive mercy and find grace to help us in our time of need.

  4. Philippians 4:6-7 Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.

  5. What are we to do? Pray! Choose God’s will and understand it through prayer. Be honest with God and receive His instructions. Seek God’s choice in our decisions. Pray for others.

  6. Our Father who art in heaven, hallowed be Your name. Your kingdom come, Your will be done, on earth as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread and forgive us our trespasses as we forgive those who have trespassed against us.

  7. Lead us not into temptation but deliver us from evil. For Yours is the kingdom and the power and the glory forever. Amen.
