COMMUNITY CINEMA GOALS AND BENEFITS: • Builds awareness, engagement, and audience • Creates significant promotional opportunities for stations through year-round programming • Grows network of community partners • Connects communities with information, resources, and opportunities to get involved

COMMUNITY CINEMA PROGRAM & RESOURCES • Monthly screening series (Sept-June) features 9 shows (1/3 of IL season) • Broad range of topics appeals to diverse communities and partners (Health, Civil Rights, Diversity, Globalization, etc.) • Comprehensive promotional and program materials provided • Flexible program model adaptable to all markets

  5. COMMUNITY ENGAGEMENT CAMPAIGN • 2006-2007 Campaign show: BEYOND BEATS AND RHYMES by Byron Hurt • Target audience is young and diverse • Comprehensive campaign materials • Station Outreach Grants will be available • Multi-themed campaign will appeal to multiple groups

  6. COMMUNITY RESOURCES • Outstanding content & service oriented model • National Partner Organizations support projects nationwide • Top quality materials and support provided to stations at no cost • Regular updates on materials and events
