Stick Rules • When I say “Sticks up” • Immediately get your sticks and be in “ready position” • When I say “Sticks Down” • Immediately place your sticks on the floor beside you
Let’s Get Warmed Up • Play 5Gs, 4Gs, 3Gs, 3Gs, 1G, no Gs! • Try rolling on one note • Take a minute to make up a short rhythmic pattern on your own! • Take one minute to softly “free play” and explore your instrument • Copy Me! • Let’s play softly • Let’s only play “G”s
