Public Higher Education Empowerment & Innovation Act • If passed, most significant legislation since Rockefeller created SUNY • Authorizes Trustees to set differential tuition rates at SO campuses • Between campuses/sectors • Between academic programs • Eliminates regulation in many areas • But requires more detail revenue & expenditure reporting

SIRIS Phase I All campuses must implement Phase I (Course, Student, Term/Section & Degree) by fall 2010 to meet new federal race/ethnicity reporting timeline!
