Helping Others Through Our Closet Clean-Out

DESCRIPTION

For our Act Local project, we cleaned out our closet and gathered clothes we no longer wear. I also raided my toy room to collect toys that I had outgrown. We packed them into large bags and decided on a donation destination. In the end, we chose Goodwill to drop off our contributions. This experience taught me the importance of giving to those who are less fortunate than ourselves. It felt great to know that our items would help someone in need. This was a meaningful part of our Act Local Project-Based Learning (PBL).

My Act Local PBL For our act local project we cleaned out our closet and got clothes we didn’t really wear. I also went in my toy room and collected all the toys. We put them in huge bags and decided where we would donate the clothes and toys. Finally we chose Goodwill. My mom drove us there and we gave our donation. I learned that it is important to give to people who aren't as fortunate as us. That was out Act Local PBL.
