  1. My Act Local Project by Alexis Abraham Hi my name is Alexis Abraham and I attend Thomas O. Hicks Elementary School. The students are doing a great project called Act Local. For my project I decided to help out a bake sale to raise money for a charity called Global Renewal Ministries. It can also be called GRM. GRM is a charity that houses and educates abused children and women in a place in Asia called Cambodia. It is a charity founded by our friends at church. Here are the sweets I sold sugar cookies, brownies, chocolate coverd marshmallows, rice krispies pumpkins and topped with a tootsie roll, cupcakes, chocolate coverd pretzels, and chocolate chip cookies. Here are all the photos my mom took when I was working on on October 26 2013 in Colleyville, Texas.
