Exploring Soil Microbial Diversity Across Seasons and Depths at Rothamsted Park

This study conducted at Rothamsted Park analyzed soil samples from different depths across various seasons between February 2009 and July 2010. DNA extractions were performed using indirect and direct methods to investigate microbial communities, focusing on Gram-positive bacteria. Techniques like MP Bio1O1, MoBio kits, and various lysis methods were employed for analysis, particularly in the rhizosphere. The study provides valuable insights into the microbial diversity present in the soil at Rothamsted Park.
