  7. The gap allows the magnets in the flywheel to generate electricity and transfer it to through the armature to the ignition coil

  11. Why is the Armature Gap so important? It transfers an electric charge from the from the flywheel magnets to the ignition system and ultimately to the spark plug

  13. Too Narrow of a Gap: Could result SKID MARKS on the rim of the flywheel and wearing of components

  14. Too Wide of a Gap: Also results in wear and tear of the armature
