Below the Micro Purchase Threshold ($3,000) procedures • Place with any vendor included in the BPA group • Attempt to distribute orders among all BPA holders • Vendors have a $0.00 order minimum • As part of the government’s green initiatives, larger orders are encouraged to reduce the number of deliveries and transactions

Over the Micro Purchase Threshold ($3,000) procedures • Employee with appropriate purchasing authority to execute the order • At least three vendors must be evaluated by surveying DOD EMALL, GSA Advantage!, vendor catalogs or vendor pricelists • Vendors outside the IT Commodity BPA need not be surveyed

  13. Over the maximum order threshold ($150,000) • The schedule contract maximum order threshold for IT commodity products is $150,000 • The $150,000 threshold represents a dollar value that a potential order automatically qualifies for a price reduction
