  2. SUGER ACT Date-April,5 1764 Important group-parliament Why it is important-parliament passed a modified version of the sugar and molasses act 1733 which was about to expire under the molasses colonial merchants had been required to pay a tax of six percent per gallon on the tax

  3. Stamp Act • Important people-King George, Parliament And John Adams was the main one against it. • Details-The English dept was doubled due to the French And Indian war. So they raised taxes on anything on paper to pay their depts. • How was it important-Colonist were mad so that when the colonist formed the constitution they put “No Taxation Without Representation”

Tea Act • Imprtant people- king gorge lll , american colonist , east indian company of Britian , and the British • Details- the east india company put taxes on tea and the colanist couldent buy tea unless it came from the that company , which led to the boston tea party • The boston tea party was an act of which the colonist did not want tobe taxed on the tea so they refused to buy it and dumped it in the water
