  1. Shut-down progress report Weeks 10 & 11 M.Weber AEM Dzero, M.Weber

  2. General • Mechanical, electrical, cryo work • Emergency power switch maintenance • Online computer server upgrades • Online controls software upgrades • Cooling the solenoid AEM Dzero, M.Weber

  3. Layer0 clearance measurement • 6.8mm radial space.Survey the clearance.- Is the overlap at Z=0 what we expect ? - Is there a restriction by previously not measured membranes ? • The measurements have been successfully completed • Clearance appears adequate for the installation of Layer 0 AEM Dzero, M.Weber

  4. EC Be SNEG AEM Dzero, M.Weber

  5. Beam pipe re-connected • Installed new SNEG pipe • Re-made the joints SNEG to EC and EC to Be • Restored dry atmosphere for SMT • Currently pumping(Ion Pumps) 1E-8 Thu 0800 AEM Dzero, M.Weber

  6. Installed a Layer0 test module • Connected to the ‘real’ PS, which have been previously installed during this shut-down • Included into the Silicon readout • Remapping of cables needed for Layer0 installation next year is partially done AEM Dzero, M.Weber

  7. Silicon • Silicon has been cooled to operation temperature • The SMT group was able to bring up the system within hours(after several weeks without reading it out and touching (all) components of the readout, including removing all sequencers) • Currently working on recovering HDIs, which failed during data taking AEM Dzero, M.Weber

  8. Next • Complete silicon work in the Calorimeter Gaps • Close the Gaps and survey • Close Toroid Irons and survey • Activate SNEG • Detector and Magnets checkout • Survey detector position AEM Dzero, M.Weber
