  2. Shutdown Work 1 1. Installation of new RR Bergoz DCCT 2. Installation of 3 MTA toroids 3. Moving MI toroid (I:TOR521) 4. Toroid system modifications to TOR852, TOR806 for baseline subtraction 5. Small toroid electronics modifications//tune-up throughout MI, RR, transfer lines... InstShutDown070801

  3. Shut Down Work 2 • Tev BLM upgrade: Install shield breaker Boxes and transfer cabling upstairs. 1 Week Followed by software upgrade and testing. • Install BLMs for MI collimators. Needs to be decided if this will happen 1-2 Weeks • Supervise MTA Instrumentation installation. All through the shutdown • MTA BLM installation. 1-2 weeks InstShutDown070801

  4. Shut Down Work 3 1. NuMI: Replace present MW118 (1 mm pitch and 25 m diameter W wire with 1 mm pitch and 12.5 m thick Ti strips). • MTA: A total of 7 multiwires will be installed in this new beamline. The last detector (MW7) will be ready for installation before the shutdown. The rest of the detectors will require modifications. The hope is to have all the multiwires ready for installation toward the end of August. Since this is a new beamline cables have to be pulled and terminal • MI8: Replace 3 old style multiwires. Refurbishing these multiwires we have to wait for the beginning of the shutdown – remove the failed assemblies, test them, and re-install them. • OTR work: Coordinate with Vic Scarpine.
