  21. Position Description: Assist Senior Auditor in performing all fieldwork at an audit location. Fieldwork can include some of planning of the audit, identifying key transactions and risks at the unit, ensuring that the unit has proper internal controls in place to address the identified risks, and testing the unit’s internal controls to ensure that they are functioning properly.   25. Position Description: Optimize customer collections. Minimize credit risk for a group of customers belonging to one or several PPG SBU’s. Understand customer financial information and make business decisions based on the risk to PPG. Establish and maintain appropriate credit limits. Credit Rep./Collection Specialist/Credit Mgr.

Bridget Quinlan • PPG's Finance Department has offered me both rewarding and challenging assignments.  The positions I’ve held have exposed me to all of our businesses, while allowing me to work with a wide variety of people at various levels within those organizations.  These experiences have provided me a unique opportunity to contribute toward the success of these various businesses.  Throughout all of my experiences I have also had the opportunity to work with some great individuals all of whom I have learned a great deal from.

  36. Jonathan Hurwitz • My ten-year career with PPG has given me broad exposure to many of PPG's businesses as well as many key areas of finance and accounting. With experiences in PPG's Coatings, Glass, and Chemicals businesses, I have been able to add technical finance skills, leadership skills, inter-personal skills, and business knowledge to my toolbox. Working at factories and in SBU staff functions, I have had the opportunity to learn many of PPG's business systems while working with a diverse group of PPG managers and professionals. My experiences of handling two PPG acquisitions have been especially interesting and challenging.

  38. Angela Blanton • In the 4 years that I have been with PPG, I have had opportunities to initiate positive changes. One of the highlights in my position as an analyst in Financial Reporting was being trained as a "Lean Sensei" and then leading projects that were focused on eliminating wastes in business   processes. It gave me an opportunity to work with various businesses and functions and helped me to gain a better understanding of how information is processed through the company. Now as a Financial Analyst for our Flat Glass Automotive Products group, I have an opportunity to understand a business at much greater detail.
