What is your listening expected to be like at level B2? • Understand what is said in standard English even in an environment with background noise. • Follow lectures in own field, provided subject matter is familiar and presentation straightforward. • Understand exchange of ideas in standard dialect on concrete and abstract topics in own field. • Use various strategies to achieve comprehension, e.g. listen for main points and use clues in context.

  5. Listen and answer following questions: How old are the shoes? What condition are the shoes in? How many pairs of shoes did a normal European woman used to own? What optical illusion does the shoe create? With what were the buckles ornamented? Where was the heel of the shoe was placed?
