  16. Power Electronics Experiment Educational objectives - to verify dc-dc power converter operation. Steps: • Designing the dc-dc converter. • Performing simulation of the designed converter (Caspoc). • Performing measurements of voltages and currents on the real system. • Comparing simulated and measured waveforms. • Loading the converter with a DC machine. The student can control the speed of the machine in open loop with the calculated duty cycle and see changes in waveforms of voltages and currents. • In advanced version of the design it will be possible to perform programming a micro controller to generate pulses for the power converter.
