  2. C R I S What is CRIS? Current Research Information System The USDA’s documentation and reporting system for ongoing agricultural, food and nutrition, and forestry activities. 40,000 descriptions of current, publicly‑supported activities: USDA agencies State Agricultural Experiment Stations State land‑grant colleges and universities State schools of forestry Cooperating schools of veterinary medicine Cooperative Extension Service USDA grant recipients

  3. C R I S CRIS PRODUCTS AND SERVICES: Web based search facility Electronic data entry system for submitting CRIS reports Expanded Accomplishments Reports Free access Web site to thousands of research, education, and extension abstracts documented in CRIS http://cris.csrees.usda.gov

  4. C R I S CRIS REPORTS Work Unit Description: Basic abstract to describe a project Accomplishments Report: Annual update of project outcomes, impacts, and publications

  5. C R I S Annual accomplishments reports and final reports are requested by the CSREES program office.

  6. C R I S CRIS emails notifications of final reports processed in previous month to the CSREES Program Manager.

  7. To submit an Accomplishments or Final Report C R I S Go to the CRIS Web Forms site at: http://cwf.uvm.edu

  8. Select Accomplishments Report (AD-421)

  9. Select your state

  10. Select participating site and enter password

  11. Enter project director last name Enter/Edit information

  12. Select Project

  13. Select annual or final report

  14. Enter Outputs Outputs

  15. Enter Outcomes/Impacts Outcomes/Impacts

  16. Enter Publications Check and Save Publications

  17. Check information entered Go to Screen 2

  18. Select an option Enter PARTICIPANTS if applicable Participants

  19. Select an option Enter TARGET AUDIENCES if applicable TargetAudiences

  20. Select an option Enter PROJECT MODIFICATIONS if applicable Check and Save data ProjectModifications

  21. Confirm report

  22. Confirmation Screen Report Complete Notify your CRIS site administrator
