  3. Affiliate Program Background • ISSIG approached by Chapters with interests of adding another benefit to their members • Chapters were interested in local networking and knowledge sharing opportunities. • ISSIG has provided a “presence” and supported their members at Chapter events.

  5. Why Should our Chapter Join the Affiliate Program? • Why should we collaborate? • mutual benefits for members • networking opportunities • more PDUs • Marketing materials • Participation in all day seminars • Links to the ISSIG website for local events

  6. Why Should our Chapter Join the Affiliate Program? • Why should we collaborate? • Larger local affiliates offer Information Systems presentations. This would be a learning opportunity for Local Affiliate Chapter members • Building best practices • IS Speaker Database • IS Volunteer Resources • Seed Money to establish a Local Affiliate

  7. Website Updates • Look for a more simplified process to become a Local Affiliate (i.e. web forms, email confirmations, etc.) • Links to Chapters Websites and contact information And much more

  8. Latest News ISSIG is awarded the 2004 PMI Component of the Year Award (SIG Category II) Excerpt from letter to SIG: “The SIG will be recognized at the PMI Leadership Meeting, 21-23 October 2004, Anaheim, CA, USA, The award will be presented to you formally during the PMI Awards Ceremony.”
