  2. Academic:Communication • The Crucible Test • Sophomore in ELA 10 • I did it to show that I obtained the information from the reading and could answer questions about it. • I evaluated the material, listened actively by asking appropriate questions, and read instructions. • In my career I will be able to follow intrusions, and take in material that I may have to read.

  3. Mathematics • Chapter 10 Test • Sophomore year in Algebra C • I did it to prove that I learned the material over ellipses, circles, hyperbolas, and parabolas, and could solve the problems without using a book. • I read charts and diagrams, and performed basic calculations • During my college career I will have to do math problems and balance my earnings when I get a job

  4. Science and Technology • Flame Test Lab • Junior year in Forensic Science • I did it to see what elements burned • I followed safety procedures, and used the appropriate tools • I will need to follow safety procedures when working with the elderly to ensure their health

  5. Problem Solving • Short Story Unit Test • Freshman year in ELA 9 • I did it to test my abilities on whether or not I read the materials and knew what certain things meant • I chose the best answer among the solutions and carried out decisions • This will help me in my career because it will help me figure out new ways to help others

  6. Personal Management:Responsibility • Zoology Book • Sophomore year in Biology • I did it to learn about the different classes and phylas in the animal kingdom • I demonstrated self-control with minimum directions a supervision, and I planned ahead of time when I should do each class • This will help me in my career by allowing me to be able to do things on my own

  7. Organization • 50 States Test • Sophomore year in American History Geography • I did this to show that I know where the states are located • I had to set a plan of action to study and remember where each state is, and I had to set high standards for quality and detail • This will help me in my career if I need to travel some where else other than the current state I will be in.

  8. Flexibility & Initiative • Vista Grande Villa • Senior year • I did it to get experience in the workplace • I seeked out an opportunity and completed my training • By working at Vista Grande Villa it gives me a feel of what it will be like to work for the elderly in the future

  9. Career Development • Resume • Senior year in Senior Transitions • I did this to show my skills, experience, and education for future jobs • I determined my personal strengths, and improved my personal portfolio • This will help me by being able to evaluate myself and others if I have to hire someone

  10. Teamwork: Communicating • Winning Districts • Junior year • We did this to show our physical and mental toughness • I listened to others ideas, gave feedback, and accepted positive criticism • In my future career I will be able to communicate with my coworkers in order to come up with the best decision

  11. Responsiveness Michigan Moxie Sophomore and Junior year I did this to mesh with different people in order to create a dominant team I accepted others and learned about their backgrounds In my future career I will be able to get along with others no matter their sex, race, ethnicity, or religion

  12. Contributing • Winning multiple tournaments with Michigan Moxie • Junior year • We did this to show how talented we were and how well we worked together as a team • I demonstrated loyalty, helped makes goal and meet them, and represented my team in a positive way • In college I will be able to help out in projects with peers and share my ideas

  13. Membership All Conference for Varsity Softball Junior year I did this to show that I can help out my team I helped my teammates meet their goals, carried out an assignment, and lead the team in developing its missions and goals In my career I will be able to help make a difference
