Planning • Always have a plan for what you’re going to do • PDP’s (Personal Development Plans) are a great idea of setting goals and targets allowing user to set reachable dates when they wish to complete work by. • -Keep a diary or make notes on what you have been doing recently so you can go back to it for referencing. • Having a backup plan is always useful • Give yourself deadlines • Be prepared for sudden changes • -Adapt plan to new changes

  4. Dependability • Be punctual • Be polite to everyone • Show you are trustworthy • Help others • Example….Footballers should always turn up to training and matches on time and show their willingness to learn and give their all to the club and it’s fans. As long as the players abide by the rules and regulations, the Managers and Backroom Staff will know they can depend on their players.

  5. Confidence • Ask Questions • Answer Questions • Don’t be afraid to speak up • Engage in conversation with everyone • Offer help to others

  6. Verbal • Speak clearly and politely • Don’t be afraid to ask questions • Always ask if you are unsure of anything • Don’t interrupt others • You never know what the next person is going to say, so it is vital you do not interrupt him/her. Speak clearly and listen to others.

  7. Teamwork • Be a team player • Listen to each other • Share ideas with each other • Don’t rely on 1 person in the group to do all of the work - FC Barcelona are a great example of how teamwork can bring you success. Listening to each other on and off the pitch with strong communication skills and great adaptability. They have won many cups and medals because they work well together in a team.

  8. Tolerance • Be aware of your surroundings • Have polite manners • Respect • An Example; - Whether someone is a Christian, Buddhist, Catholic or Hindu etc… Regardless of a person’s religious beliefs, always have respect for what they believe in and how they do it.

  9. Creativity • Be creative • Think outside the box • Don’t be afraid to share ideas Example - Building a paper aeroplane… There is the basic way with a sheet of A4 paper how to make a paper aeroplane fly. However , if you take time and think about extending/adapting your aeroplane then it will fly further and faster than the basic paper plane you created first.

  10. Punctuality • Always be on time • Hand in all work on time • Dress to impress • Being punctual is very important – If you turn up to work and meetings on time then it proves to others they can rely on you.
